We hope you had a chance to stop by the Albany NAACP's table at the annual Capital of New York Black Expo in Albany, NY on Saturday, November 15, 2025. It was a great day for tabling and networking. There were so many wonderful people that stopped by our table and excellent performances.
It was a successful event but we forgot to capture all the great moments but here are a few...
We ran into one of our former P3 students who is not studying to become a paralegal.
A former Albany High student, Elijah Temple who is currently in college received a scholarship from CNYS, his younger brother and father accepted the certificate on his behalf.
Sharoone Salaam, mother of Yusuf Salaam, who is one of the exonerated 5. She received the lifetime achievement award for the CNYS Black Expo 2025, presented by Queen and Tatiana Cunningham.
Huge congratulations to one of our committee partners, ACLT with Valerie Moseley and Pastor Michael Williams for their commitment and dedication to the community.
